Huge Cache of Ammunition, Heroin Recovered In Bihar’s Sasaram, 10 Held

Sasaram: In a major successful operation, Bihar Police has seized illegal firearms, a huge quantity of heroin, laptops, and mobile phones in Sasaram district, an official statement said on Saturday. 

Acting on tips about hidden drugs in several residences in Mubarakganj area, under Nagar police station's jurisdiction, Rohtas police took swift action, an official said. 

Large Quantity of Firearms, Heroin Seized In Raids 

Rohtas Superintendent of Police (SP) Roshan Kumar said that law enforcement ncies carried out raids on about six to seven identified houses.

" matter is being investigated. So far, more than 10 people have been detained and are being questioned. Weapons and drugs have been recovered from se people. information about total arrests will be shared only after interrogation. final number of recovered weapons will also be told after some time. At present, raid is over and investigation is going on.." he said.

As a result of se operations, ten individuals have been detained on suspicion of involvement in se illegal activities. police are continuing ir investigation to uncover more details about drug supply network in region.

Meanwhile, police said that arrested people are being questioned regarding case.
