Hyderab: A couple was killed and a teenager was injured after a massive fire broke out in a double-story building at East Chandra Nagar, near Yakatpura railway station in Hyderab, officials said.

deceased were identified as Usharani (50) and her husband Mohan Lal (58). ir 18-year-old daughter, Shruthi also sustained injuries in blaze.

Hyderab district fire official, Srinivas Reddy, said fire broke out at around 11 pm on Monday, following which fire tenders were sent to spot.

"A fire broke out in a double-story building at East Chandra Nagar, near Yakatpura railway station, around 11 pm on Monday night. Shortly after receiving information about incident, fire tenders reached spot and controlled fire," he said.

Earlier on Sunday night, a massive fire broke out at a restaurant and a cracker shop in Hyderab's Sultan Bazar area damaging multiple vehicles and leaving one woman with minor injuries. fire h erupted at a restaurant and spre into a nearby cracker shop, officials said.
