Speaking at a vibrant gathering in Long Island, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the Indian diaspora, referring to the American-Indian community as the new "AI power" of the world. "For the world, AI means artificial intelligence, but for me, AI also means American-Indian spirit. This is the new 'AI' power of the world… I salute the Indian diaspora," he stated.
The Prime Minister emphasized the unique role the diaspora plays in connecting India and America. "You have connected India to America and America to India. Your skill, talent, and commitment have no competition," he remarked, acknowledging their contributions to both nations.
PM Modi reflected on the enduring bond between the Indian diaspora and their homeland, saying, “You might have come seven seas apart, but no sea has that much depth that it can distance you from India. What Ma Bharati has taught us, we can never forget. Wherever we go, we accept all as family. Understanding and living diversity is in our veins.”
He further noted India's rich cultural tapestry, stating, "We belong to a country with dozens of languages and dialogues, all faiths and religions, and yet we are moving forward united."
