IAS Officer Puja Khedkar's Parents On The Run After FIR Filed Against Them
Pune Police has revealed that IAS officer Puja Khedkar's parents are on the run after an FIR was filed against them for threatening a local farmer.

Pune: Days after an FIR was filed against IAS officer Puja Khedkar who's training in Maharashtra was put on hold on Tuesday her parents, the Pune Police has revealed that are on the run.
An FIR was filed after a video of the IAS officer's mother, Manorama Khedkar went viral where she is seen threatening a local farmer with a gun in her hand.

IAS Officer Puja Khedkar's Parents On The Run, Phones Switched Off
With respect to IAS officer Puja Khedkar's parents, Manorama Khedkar and Dilip Khedkar, Pune Rural SP Pankaj Deshmukh has said, “The accused are on the run, we are trying to contact them but they are not reachable as their phones are switched off. We have also tried to reach their residence but they are not available.”
Pune Police Deploys Teams To Search For Them
The Pune Rural SP Pankaj Deshmukh has further said, "Several teams, including officials from the local crime branch and local police stations, are searching for them in Pune and nearby places where they have some farmhouses and other residences. If found, we will question them and take action accordingly."

FIR Lodged Against Manorama And Dilip Khedkar For Threatening Local Farmer
Accoding to Pune Police, "The Police registered an FIR against Manorama Khedkar, Dilip Khedkar, parents of trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar and five others. The FIR was filed at Paud police station based on the complaint of a local farmer who alleged that he was threatened by Manoram Khedkar."
The FIR has been lodged under the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita sections of the Indian Arms Act, namely, sections 323, 504, 506, 143, 144, 147, 148 and 149.
