What is IBPS:

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is an independent institute that offers recruitment and placement opportunities in banking sector in India.  RBI, Finance Ministry of India, and NIBM are governing bodies for IBPS. ditionally, Public Bank Representatives and insurance companies also have a say in decision-making process. IBPS provides a systematic assessment by conducting around 250 examinations each year through multiple sessions. More than one crore applications are sent out for se exams each year.

IBPS Exams:

As of w, IBPS conducts four exams within a year.

IBPS SO:

This exam is for ‘Specialist Officers.’ This has two scales. Scale 1 SO provides gre manment services in HR, IT, Marketing, Law, etc. Scale 2 requires specialization like MBA, PG, PGDBM, CFA, etc. and some work experience.

 IBPS Clerk:

Here, Preliminary and mains are two exams that are conducted for clerical posts

IBPS PO:

This exam is for ‘Probationary Officers’. re are two exams for this post- preliminary and mains,  followed by an interview process.

IBPS RRB:

Group A personnel of scale 1, 2 and 3 and group B personnel are employed via this exam. All required degrees and work experience is necessary to appear for this exam.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS exams:

 

  • candidate must have a bachelor’s degree along with kwledge of computers and internet.
  • For candidates applying for special ranks like Law, Manment, Accounting, IT, etc., a postgruate degree, certificate course or council membership is mandatory.

IBPS tifications:

official tification for IBPS Clerk 2019-20 exam was released on 12th September 2019. Based on IBPS official calendar, IBPS Clerk preliminary exam for 2019 is scheduled on 07.12.2019, 08.12.2019, 14.12.2019 and 15.12.2019 and mains examination is scheduled on 25.01.2020. Candidates must apply online to appear for any of se exams.
