Anand Mahindra took to Twitter and posted a motivational message for the ISRO scientists after communication from Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander was lost

Communication from Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander to ISRO's ground station in Bengaluru was lost on Saturday, minutes before the touchdown on the lunar surface. Responding over the development, Mahindra Group CEO Anand Mahindra took to Twitter and posted a motivational message for the ISRO scientists. He said that communication is not lost, with every Indian being able to hear the heartbeat of Chandrayaan 2. Anand Mahindra later shared an inspiring note, saying that Chandrayaan's Vikram Lander is whispering to the nation and saying, "If at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again".

Contact with 'Vikram' lander lost
Briefing over the development, ISRO chief K Sivan said that the Vikram lander descend was normal and as planned till 2.1 km. He added that subsequently, the communication was lost and the data is being analysed. The powered descent of the lander began at around 1.38 am. 'Vikram' Lander separated from its orbiting mothership after which it performed a series of manoeuvres to lower its altitude. As termed by the ISRO chief, during the "15 minutes of terror", about 2.1 km from the surface, the contact was lost from the Lander.

PM Modi's message for ISRO scientists
Speaking to the ISRO scientists at the monitoring centre in Bengaluru, PM Modi asked them to be courageous and said that the country is proud of them. Adding that there are ups and downs in life, PM Modi appealed them to hope for the best.

"Be courageous. I am always there with you. There are ups and down in life. This is not a small achievement what you did. India is proud of all of you. Your hard work has taught us a lot. The scientists have told us that if the communication is established once again, then it will keep on giving us many things. Hope for the best. You have done a good job. We will keep learning and moving ahead. I am with you wholeheartedly," PM Modi said speaking to the ISRO scientists.
