Supreme court-appointed Committee of ministrators (CoA) chief Vid Rai has failed to take Diana Edulji onboard while making a plea before top court on orders pushing BCCI elections date due to upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. An official reportedly said, Rai and Ravi Thodge are in favour of deferring board elections, however, Diana Edulji has me her stand very clear t only to committee but also to Amicus Curiae.

A BCCI official alleged, court gave powers to Amicus Curiae to waive off election tice period on September 20. He questioned COA’s need to push date furr, accusing Vid Rai of holding personal grudges against associations who questioned his style of functioning. Indian skipper has been reported to apprise two members of CoA regarding her concerns and also take up matter with Amicus Curiae. Supreme Court orders say that only state associations have failed to comply with BCCI

petition reported that Rai sought clarifications on two accounts- How can TNCA hold elections for post of Assistant Secretary and wher disqualification shall only be confined to those who h held post of office-bearers of state or in BCCI – from apex court. Rai cleared misunderstanding that  n-Indian passport holder clause, a 70-year clause has been done away with, which was t case.

Supreme Court's orders of September 20 were clear, court maintained that only TNCA and Haryana state associations have failed to comply with BCCI constitution., directing m t to re-amend ir constitutions. However, a senior official reportedly complained that Court's orders stated all associations need to comply with new constitution or else face disqualification. He furr ded CoA is deliberately creating confusion for SC judges by claiming some states aren't following orders.
