'Imported Agenda': PM Modi Slams Congress, Says 'It's Selling Hate In Name Of Mohabbat Ki Dukaan'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress party in Katra saying there vision has never gone beyond the vote bank politics.
Katra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday hit out at the Congress during a poll rally in Jammu-Kashmir's Katra saying the ‘Grand Old Party’ is working on ‘imported agenda’ and has a habbit of selling hateful things in the name of ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’. The Prime Minister further said that Congress doesn't have a vision beyond vote bank politics.
" Congress can put our faith and culture at stake for a few votes anytime. Congress heir went abroad and said that our 'devi-devta' are not gods... It is an insult to our faith. Congress should be punished for this... They don't say all this just for the sake of it, or as a mistake. It is a planned conspiracy. It is a naxal mindset which has been imported from other religions and other countries... This naxal mindset of Congress insulted the Dogra culture of Jammu...," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
PM Modi said he is working day and night for the development of Jammu and Kashmir adding Congress , National Conference (NC) and Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) can never think about the welfare of the youth of J-K.
He said that BJP wants to give youth the opportunity which they were deprived off by Congress , PDP and NC.
When I used to come here as BJP organisation workers, my workers used to give me Kaladi, a traditional cheese sandwich and now it has got a GI tag which assures that it was originated here only.
“I am happy that Kaladi got GI tag which means Kaladi is born here,” PM Modi said.
“In the last two years, around two crore tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir, out of which 95 lakh pilgrims visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister mentioned about his government's Ayushman scheme which assures Rs 5 lakh free health treatment and after the government formation would be increased to Rs 6 lakhs.
Projects in Kiru, Khwar, Ratle, and Pakkal Dul will give power as well as jobs. Had BJP not there, people of Kathua and Samba would have been suffering… now that Shahpur Kandi dam is there, thousands of farmers has got a new life, the Prime Minister said.
“ Congress wants to return the era of ‘blood and terror’ by bringing back Article 370 which has filled enthusiasm in the neigbhouring country,” he said.
“ Congress -National Conference alliance ki balle balle ho rahi hai Pakistan mei ( Pakistan is celebrating Congress -NC alliance in Jammu and Kashmir )… but we will not let Pakistan 's agenda be imposed here, no power in the world can bring back Article 370,” PM Modi said.
Earlier, Prime Minister received a warm welcome by party workers as he reached Katra to address an election rally ahead of the second phase of J&K Assembly polls scheduled to be held on September 25.
