Congress candidate from Mumbai North Lok Sabha seat Urmila Matondkar on Tuesday posted an adorable picture of herself with her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir sitting on a two-wheeler smiling.
She captioned the beautiful image saying: "Life is a Joy Ride with you, Mohsin by my side. Moment caught yesterday while visiting one of the booths." [sic]

While the picture reminded many fans of the iconic 'Hamara Bajaj' ad, a lot of them also trolled the actress for not strapping her helmet. One user wrote: "But make sure when you wear helmet, fix the loose ends of straps.", while the other said: "helmet works only when tied firmly!.", and the other commented: "Please lead by example. You should wear the helmet properly. Next time fasten the strap and be a good role model to your supporters" [sic]

Meanwhile, Urmila Matondkar placed her vote in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bandra, Mumbai on Monday. Speaking to reporters after exercising her franchise, the actress-turned-politician urged the voters to come out in huge numbers and place their votes.

Adding that voting is the matter of the question of their future, Urmila urged the votes to vote first and later enjoy their holiday.

"I only want to say, people must come out in numbers to votes. They can enjoy their leave later, exercise their franchise first. Come in huge numbers and please place your votes. It is the question of their future, their life and their country. Please come out in large numbers and vote first, and then enjoy your TV and your holiday," the Congress leader said.
Later, she sang the Marathi song 'Tu Chal Pudhe' urging the citizens to place their votes in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha polls.
