On the occasion of Holi political leaders also extended best wishes, saying 'Happy Holi' to the nation.
PM Modi took to social media to say: "this festival of joy and gaiety will further strengthen the colour of our unity and goodwill".

Earlier on Thursday, Google marked the festival of Holi with a colourful doodle showcasing festivities and splashing of colours. Also known as the festivals of colours, Holi marks the end of winter and beginning of spring season.
