India h signed a contract with US Government and M/s Boeing Ltd for 22 Apache helicopters in September 2015.
first batch of se helicopters are scheduled be shipped to India by July 2019. Selected aircrew and ground crew have undergone training at training facilities at US Army base Fort Rucker, Alabama. se personnel will le operationalisation of Apache fleet in IAF.

ditionally, Defence Ministry in 2017 h approved procurement of six Apache helicopters along with weapons systems from Boeing at a cost of Rs 4,168 crore for Army. This will be its first fleet of attack choppers. Fusels for this Army order will be produced by Tata Boeing Aero Limited, a joint venture between Boeing and Tata vanced Systems in Hyderab.
