Third summon to Ananya Panday; asked to appear on Monday at NCB Office

NCB DDG Mutha Ashok Jain said Ananya Panday has been summoned by NCB again to appear on Monday for further interrogation in the drugs probe. She has been grilled by NCB on Thursday and Friday for two and four hours respective in connection to her conversation with Aryan Khan.

Ananya Panday leaves NCB Office after four hours of interrogation by NCB. NCB sources have said Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede himself was conducting the interrogation in connection with her chats with Aryan Khan. She was quizzed by the NCB on Thursday as well for nearly two hours.

'Abhyas': DRDO successfully tests new High-speed expendable aerial target in Odisha

Strengthening India’s defense capabilities, the Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully test-fired the High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Chandipur off the coast of the Bay of Bengal in Odisha.

The missile was fired from a ground-based controller in a pre-designated flight path at subsonic speed. The missile provides a significant advantage as it can be used as an aerial target for the evaluation of various missile systems.

Moreover, the weapon's low altitude flight capability with a radio altimeter in the loop was also demonstrated. Besides, the IR flares were ignited from the ground station during the test flight.

Massive Fire At Curry Road's High-profile Residential Building Leaves 1 Dead

A massive fire was reported from Mumbai's Avighna park building, Madhav palav marg, Curry Road on Friday morning. The fire broke out on the 19th floor of the residential building. Thick black smoke was seen emerging from the building. Several ambulances rushed to the spot along with several fire brigades. The blaze is said to be not limited to a single floor but have spread to several floors.

At least 14 fire engines and 9 jumbo tanks at Avighna Park apartments, Curry Road. The Mumbai Fire Department said that one person succumbed to his injuries after he jumped from the 19th floor of the building where the fire broke out. The person was declared brought dead by Kem Hospital.

Fire at Mumbai High Rise building

A level 3 fire broke out at Mumbai's high profile super luxury building on Friday, 22 October as the firefighting unit reached the scene. The blazes rocked Avighna towers in Parel. The incident was reported at 11:51 AM by Mumbai Fire Brigade. So far, no injuries have been detected. The Avighna towers consist of 60 floors and the fire was seen out of the 19th floor of the high rise.

The Haryana Police have informed that they have arrested a Nihang after he assaulted a labourer and fractured his leg after the latter allegedly refused to give him the chickens that he was carrying. Pakistan to remain on FATF Grey List

In a major shocker for the Prime Minister Imran Khan-led administration, Pakistan will remain in FATF's 'grey list' till April 2022, the body announced on Thursday. The Financial Action Task Force made this decision on Thursday during the three-day plenary session. In its 'High-Risk Jurisdictions subject to a Call for Action' document, the global financing watchdog said that Islamabad needed to work towards its 'other strategically important AML/CFT deficiencies'. Pakistan will remain on the grey list of FATF as it failed to curb terror financing of United Nations proscribed terrorists living in its territory. The intergovernmental organisation said that Pakistan needed to take more steps against terror financing.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, who was questioned for nearly 3 hours by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday has been called for questioning again on Friday. The anti-drugs agency had earlier conducted raids at her Bandra residence and seized electronic devices including her mobile phone and laptop. In addition, the agency is also looking into her chats with Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.
