India, Israel successfully test Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile defence system

India and Israel have successfully tested a Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (MRSAM) defence system jointly developed by the two countries in a boost to their combat capabilities aimed at providing ultimate protection from enemy aircraft.

Jointly developed by IAI and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in partnership with or defence companies in Israel and India, MRSAM is being used by all three wings of Indian army and also Israel Defence Forces (IDF). system includes an vanced phased-array rar, command and control, mobile launchers and interceptors with vanced RF seeker.
