India News: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is set to begin the scientific investigation of Bhojshala on Friday (22 March) following the Madhya Pradesh High Court's order.

In a letter written to Indore and Dhar authorities, Additional Director General (ADG) of ASI, Prof Alok Tripathi requested to provide safe access to the site to conduct the survey.

Further, Supreme Court has decided to review a public interest litigation (PIL) on Thursday, which questions the tradition of political parties offering freebies during elections. This development coincides with the nation's preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections commencing on April 19.

The PIL advocates for the Election Commission to utilize its power to freeze election symbols and rescind the registration of parties involved in such activities.
