Although opening T20 between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday was called off due to wet patches on track after rains, Guwahati fans sealed day with singing 'Vande Mataram' in stadium. While groundstaff was ensuring ir best to dry ground, fans turned ir torch lights on ir mobile phones and started singing  national song of India. 

video went viral on social media after  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter and said, "Guwahati, You beauty."

Opening T20 match called off

series-opening T20 match between India and Sri Lanka was called off on January 5 after rains lashed out 15 minutes before commencement of game. rain spell lasted less than an hour but ground could t be prepared in time.
