Indian Army asks Pakistan to take back bodies of 7 BAT intruders, offers to approach with 'white flag'

Indian Army on Saturday foiled attempts of Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on a forward post along Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, and killed five to seven intruders, as informed by a defence spokesman in Srinagar. In a major development, Indian Army has offered Pakistan to take over mortal remains of 5-7 Pak BAT Army regulars/terrorists.
As per news ncy ANI, Indian Army has asked Pakistan to approach with a white flag and take over de bodies for last rites. However, Pakistan is yet to respond to offer.

Indian Army foils Pak attempt
As per sources, BAT attempt was me on intervening night of July 31 and August 1. BAT generally comprises special forces personnel of Pakistani Army and terrorists. As per defence spokesperson, Pakistan has me multiple attempts in last 36 hours to disrupt Amarnath Yatra and disturb peace in Valley. Several terrorists have also been killed in past few days in Valley by Indian Army, including Zeenat ul Islam, Umar Wani and Khalid Bhai.

In statement issued on Saturday in matter, it was also stated that forces h recovered cache of sniper rifle, IED and mine with Pakistan markings. 'This clearly indicates complicity of Pakistan in terror activities. Security forces will continue to respond to all nefarious activities along LoC and hinterland,' statement said.
Travel visory by J&K government to Amarnath Yatris
Earlier on Friday, Jammu and Kashmir government h issued an unprecedented security visory asking Amarnath Yatris to cut short ir stay and return as soon as possible from valley. visory was issued considering prevailing security situation in Kashmir valley.

"Keeping in view latest intelligence inputs of terror threats, with specific targetting of Amarnath Yatra, and given prevailing security situation in Kashmir Valley, in interest of safety and security of tourists and Amarnath Yatris, it is vised that y may curtail ir stay in valley immediately and take necessary measures to return as soon as possible," statement re.
