Continuing its crackdown on fake news in Valley, sources in Indian Army, on Thursday have reportedly claimed that tweet posted by Pakistan's Major General Asif Ghafoor is a hoax. Ghafoor h baselessly claimed on Tuesday in his tweet that Indian fire h martyred 3 civilians. He went on to claim that six Indian soldiers h been killed while destroying two Indian Army bunkers. He claimed this occured when Pakistan Army fired along Line of Control (LOC) in Tatta Pani sector.
Army sets record straight
Sources have furr reported that Indian Army claims that tweet shared by Ghafoor, who is Spokesperson of Pakistan Armed Forces using his official handle (DG ISPR) proves that 'Pakistan as a nation is only propaganda machinery'. Meanwhile, setting record straight, Indian Army allegedly suffered one fatal casualty and four n-fatal casualties while replying to Pakistan's cross-fire violation, as per sources. Army has promptly shared information to press. This is also covered by media on a national basis.

Explaining intention behind Pakistan Army's attempts at sharing false casualty numbers, Indian Army states that it is 'Pakistan's deliberate design to up ante along LOC to desperately seek international attention, according to sources. y also ded that unlike Pakistan Army, Indian Army never hides casualties. This statement is aimed at dismissing all rumours about false casualties. Pakistan has been spreing false rumours since abrogation of article 370.

Pak minister 'fake video'
Previously, on Tuesday, a Pakistani leer shared a fake video claiming it to be of Kashmir. video shared by Pakistan leer Arsalan Siddiqy, claiming it to be Kashmir video, shows a 2017 mock drill of police from Mhya Presh. In a brazen attempt, Pak social media user went on to allege that Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir are facing worst kind of gecide taking place. This was n found out to be a 2017 mock drill carried out by Mhya Presh police. Siddiqy tried to instill fear in name of Kashmir.

Pakistan's fake news factory
From prominent ministers of Imran Khan to ISI, neighbouring country is showing desperation over Kashmir issue and promulgating fake news in an attempt to instigate a 'social media propaganda war' over abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in India. Pakistan Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi in a tweet tried to "show" world in what he claimed to be a video from Kashmir valley. However, exposing its fake propaganda, it was soon established that video was an old video from Haryana from 2017. Apart from this, Pakistan PM Imran Khan himself has been fearmongering over Kashmir since abrogation of article 370. He h also approached UNSC for intervention, only to face humiliation after being told by international body that Kashmir issue was a bilateral agreement.
