The Indian Army has occupied six new major hill features on the LAC in the last three weeks amid the ongoing conflict with the Chinese PLA in Easter Ladakh

Indian Army has occupied six new major hill features on Line of Actual Control (LAC) in last three weeks amid ongoing conflict with Chinese PLA in Eastern Lakh sector, ANI reported.

" Indian Army has occupied six new heights between August 29 and second week of September. new hill features being occupied by our troops include Magar hill, Gurung Hill, Recehen La, Rezang La, Mokhpari and dominating height over Chinese positions near Finger 4," top government sources told news ncy.

After Indian Army occupied new heights, Chinese Army deployed around 3,000 ditional troops including its infantry and armoured troops near Rezang la and Recehen La heights. Moldo garrison of PLA has also been fully activated with ditional troops in last few weeks.

India’s ongoing standoff with China

After Chinese aggression, Indian security forces are working in close coordination and conducting operations under watch of National Security visor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and Army chief General Maj Mukund Narwane.
