Government's effort in containing J&K situation

As many as 36 members of Union Council of Ministers visited Jammu and Kashmir in month of January in order to create awareness about government's policies, particularly those taken in last five months after abrogation of Article 370. Opposition parties including Congress have left stones unturned in hitting out at Central government over Jammu and Kashmir issue since abrogation of Article 370. On matter of Union Minister's visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leer Ghulam Nabi Az h said that it was yet ar attempt of  government to misle people. On or hand, BJP has accused Congress of toeing Pakistani line over matter.

In Central government's effort to rmalize situation after abrogation of Article 370, two international delegations h also visited Jammu and Kashmir. First, MPs from European Union h visited in last year followed by envoys of 16 nationals visited Jammu and Kashmir earlier in January. delegations h given positive feedback on situation in Kashmir and said that y found rmalcy returning in union territory grually.

Some parties criticized government's move to allow foreign delegation to visit Jammu and Kashmir but t leers of Opposition parties. Moreover, y also attacked government asking wher foreign delegation will be allowed to meet detained political leers of Kashmir.
