Republic Day celebrations started in New Delhi in presence of Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro, Chief Guest for this year's pare. pare saw India display pride of its armed forces mixed with cultural extravagance of Indian states.

90-minute-long Republic Day pare ceremony began after Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid respects at National War Memorial near India Gate, and President arrived with chief guest. Indian National Flag was unfurled with a booming 21-gun salute followed by national anm. pare was commanded by Pare Commander Lieutenant General Asit Mistry, while Chief of Staff Major General Alok Kacker was pare Second-in-Command.
