In light of Coronavirus pandemic which has gripped country, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant has identified 15 places including Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedab as 'high case lo' spots and pinned India's success in battling COVID-19 on se cities. According to statistics tweeted by NITI Aayog CEO, Delhi has most percent of cases contributing to India's Coronavirus caselo, followed by Mumbai in Maharashtra, Ahmedab in Gujarat and Indore in Mhya Presh. Out of 15 districts highlighted by Kant, 7 of m have shown particularly high case volumes.
'ticeable improvement in Telangana'
NITI Aayog CEO has also observed 'ticeable improvement' by Telangana in terms of COVID cases while Kerala has shown most improvement followed by Tamil Nu. Or high case lo places that are "critical" in battle against COVID-19 include -- Vodara (Gujarat), Kurol (Andhra Presh), Bhopal (Mhya Presh), Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Agra (Uttar Presh), Thane (Maharashtra), Chennai (Tamil Nu) and Surat (Gujarat).

At present, re are 21,632 active Coronavirus cases in India. While 6,868 individuals have recovered from dely disease, 934 have succumbed to it. Prime Minister also met with Chief Ministers of states across country on Monday to take stock of situation. It is also expected that lockdown set to end on May 3 will be extended in view of rising number of cases. However, Home Ministry has provided some relaxation by allowing states to re-open n-essential shops.

'We would have h over 10 lakh +ve cases today'
NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant on Sunday shared a study which showed that lockdown imposed by government has increased doubling rate from to 12.53 days, versus three days it would have been but for lockdown; which could have witnessed country recording over 10 lakh positive - almost 44 times higher than n number of cases. graphical representation of data analysed was based on mamatical modelling.

NITI Aayog building sealed
Ajit Kumar, Deputy Secretary (ministration), of NITI Aayog on Tuesday informed that one officer of director level in government's apex planning thinktank has tested positive for COVID-19. He said that necessary protocol is being followed, including sealing of building for two days for thorough disinfection and sanitisation. Those who came in contact with person have been asked to self-quarantine.
