IndiGo flight makes safe emergency landing at Bhopal airport after 'technical glitch'

 An IndiGo Airlines flight from Surat to Kolkata with 172 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport due to a technical glitch.

 An IndiGo Airlines flight going to Kolkata from Surat with 172 passengers on board me an emergency landing at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport on Sunday due to a technical glitch, said an official.

Raja Bhoj Airport Director Anil Vikram told PTI that flight me an emergency landing just after 12 on.

" IndiGo Airlines flight from Surat to Kolkata carrying 172 passengers me an emergency landing at 12.04 pm on Sunday. landing was safe. pilot informed ATC (Air Traffic Controller) about technical glitch and me an emergency landing safely," he said.

Alternate arrangements for passengers

Of 172 passengers, 19 have to go furr to Guwahati and Amritsar from Kolkata, and se passengers were sent to Bengaluru by flight to help m get connecting flights to ir destinations, he said.

"For remaining passengers, a plane is coming from Nagpur, which will take m furr to Kolkata," airport director said.
