IndiGo plane aborts take-off at Nagpur airport, Nitin Gadkari and other passengers deplaned safely

A major mishap was avoided on Tuesday August 13, when a Indigo pilot detected a technical snag in his flight.

A major mishap was avoided on Tuesday August 13, when a Indigo pilot detected a technical snag in his flight. flight returned to Nagpur airport from runway and passengers were deplaned safely. Union Minister Nitin Gkari was among passengers boarding flight. However, all passengers were deplaned successfully and ne of passengers were hurt. 

On Monday, as snag in Indigo flight number was detected, steps were taken to deplane each and every passenger safely including Union Minister Nitin Gkari. Issuing statement, Airports Authority also issued following statement:

"IndiGo flight 6E 636 from Nagpur to Delhi returned to taxiway from runway at 7.30 am, after aircraft detected serious error & pilot decided to abort take-off. Passengers were de-boarded. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gkari was also on-board flight."

Sources also informed that passengers are still waiting for next flight arrangement. As soon as y boarded flight and pilot was checking technicalities, he discovered a technical error and flight was returned from runway. statement has been received from Union Minister so far.
