Industry should encourage research, design innovations: Raj Guv Kalraj Mishra

 Rajasthan Goverr Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday called upon industrial sector to develop an institutional system to encour research and design invations.

He was addressing National Conference on Industrial Development through Research Development and Invations organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here.Mishra urged CII to work on a policy of motivating entrepreneurs to get latest research and design patents in states.

He said developing a common understanding of government and entrepreneurs for industrial development can only help country's ecomy to grow rapidly.

Goverr also stressed on adopting science and techlogy invation, adding that it is necessary to identify and bring forward local invations, latest forms of design and research.re is dearth of capabilities in country, but industrial sectors need to come forward and work in development of essential components required for research and invation system, he said.

Organisations like CII should contribute to encour micro, small and medium scale industries, Mishra added.
