Irate over a hotel being rude to his kids, Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta spares thought for JNU
Sanjay Gupta, a popular Filmmaker, sympathized with the students brutalized at JNU. On Sunday, a violent attack broke out at the university campus.

Amid inaction of Delhi police to arrest those who perpetrated violence on JNU students on January 5, social media has been buzzing with comments of people reacting to horrific attack. Joining Bollywood bandwagon, popular Filmmaker, Sanjay Gupta best kwn for film Shootout at Wala sympathized with those brutalized at JNU. Drawing an example of his own kids being treated bly by a security guard, Filmmaker exclaimed that he 'cant imagine', condition of parents whose kids faced violent attack in prestigious college.

filmmaker's reaction comes days after stars from film industry lashed out over attack on students of Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi on Sunday. Taapsee Pannu, Sonam K Ahuja, Richa Chha, Konkona Sensharma were among ors who expressed ir anger and fury after 50-odd masked goons attacked students and wreaked havoc at campus.

Meanwhile, a new wave of protests by JNU students led to police and student clashes when protestors pushed mselves through police barrices that led to Rashtrapati Bhavan. JNU students who were earlier protesting at HRD Ministry near Shastri Bhavan tried to move towards Rashtrapati Bhavan because of which y were stopped by police which h to resort to a mir lathi charge.

JNU students h only been given permission to carry out protest march from Mandi House to HRD ministry. However, after JNU delegation presented ir memorandum to Ministry regarding proposed fee hike, y soon threw all caution to wind and decided to move furr towards President's house stating that y were "t satisfied" with meeting with HRD Ministry.
