New Delhi: Me Leer of Opposition to serve as voice of opposition in Lok Sabha, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was caught egging on MPs to disrupt Parliament proceedings during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech.

BJP Schools ‘Lawbreaker’ Rahul 

Taking a swipe at Congress leer, BJP leer Shehz Poonawalla said that MPs are elected to be lawmakers and not lawbreakers.

Speaking exclusively to Republic, BJP leer said, “We have seen two contrasting pictures. One shows LoP Rahul Gandhi himself encouraging MPs to break rules and jump in well to disturb PM's speech. second shows PM Modi offering water even to a protesting MP who is heckling him. Who is dictator? Does Rahul even deserve to be LoP?"

Anor BJP leer, Nalin Kohli said, “We need to understand that this has become norm since 2014. When PM Modi speaks, opposition raises slogans to disrupt proceedings. Despite Prime Minister listening patiently to speech of LoP, opposition tried to disrupt his speech. It means that Opposition parties are here to make noise and not listen to what ruling party has to say.” 

Prime Minister will reply to Motion of Thanks on President's dress in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday around noon. Like his speech in Lok Sabha, PM Modi is expected to be at his combative best during his dress in Rajya Sabha and take on an aggressive opposition.
