Taking to Twitter, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) shared an uber-cute video of a 5-year-old boy saluting ITBP Jawans in Lakh. LKG student, Nawang Namgyal, donned uniform of ITBP personnel as he salutes Jawans. Sharing video, ITBP termed it as 'Happy and inspiring'. This comes just a day after PM Modi urged citizens to light a Diya on Diwali to salute soldiers who guard national borders along with or frontline workers like police personnel and healthcare workers.

Indian leers hail security forces
As PM Modi continued his trition of celebrating festival of lights with security forces of Nation, several or leers took moment to hail soldiers who continue serving nation irrespective of situation. Governor of Sikkim, Balmiki Pras Singh, visited ITBP jawans at Raj Bhavan in Gangtok to greet m on auspicious occasion. CM Rawat shared a video from Diwali celebration on Twitter with a caption in Hindi that res, " government is effectively taking steps for welfare of soldiers. Celebrating holy festival of Deepawali with Jawans to salute our brave soldiers posted on borders for protection of country day and night."

PM Modi appeals citizens to salute soldiers of country
Prime Minister through a video message on Twitter appealed to citizens of country to light a Diya on Diwali as a salute to soldiers guarding nation on borders. Apart from this, he also expressed gratitude to or frontline workers including police officials, health workers, and ir families.
PM Modi said, "Friends, we must remember our brave soldiers who are guarding our borders even in this festive time, serving country and providing security. We must celebrate Diwali only after remembering m. We must also light a lamp for se brave sons and daughters of Mor India."

PM Narendra Modi also said that even though all soldiers and frontline COVID-19 workers would not be home to celebrate festival with ir families, entire nation would pray for m. He said, 'This Diwali, let us also light a Diya as a salute to soldiers who fearlessly protect our nation. Words can't do justice to sense of gratitude we have for our soldiers for ir exemplary courage. We are so grateful to families of those on borders."
Soon after PM Modi celebrated festival of lights with jawans at Longewala Post in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer.
