J&K's Article 370 scrapped, netizens resonate with Maj Gaurav Arya's viral take on Tukde gang's JNU return

After the resolution to abrogate Article 370 was passed in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, Major Gaurav Arya (Retired) in a sardonic tweet explained how after holding an emergency JNU meeting, the students went back to sleep within 2 hours.

After resolution to abrogate Article 370 was passed in Rajya Sabha on Monday, Major Gaurav Arya (Retired) in a sardonic tweet explained how after holding an emergency JNU meeting, students went back to sleep within 2 hours. 

In a tweet, Major Arya ted how JNU held a midnight emergency meeting to condemn abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, y raised slogans like 'Bharat tere tukde honge' (India you will be divided) and later went on to say that after 'having achieved Azai of Kashmir and dismemberment of India by 2 AM, y went back to sleep'

He said: An emergency meeting was held at JNU at midnight. Abrogation of Article 370 was strongly condemned. Azai slogans were raised. “Bharat tere tukde honge” was preferred chant. Having achieved Azai of Kashmir & dismemberment of India by 2 am, y went back to sleep.

Article 370 scrapped

Along with J&K (Reorganisation) Bill 2019, Home Minister Amit Shah proposed to repeal Article 370, that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, in Rajya Sabha. President Ram Nath Kovind exercised his power under Clause 1 of Article 370 to scrap Article 370. With order, Article 35A, which provided special privileges to “permanent residents" of state has also been scrapped. w, people from outside state can buy property in state. Earlier, Article exempted 'state' of Jammu and Kashmir from following Indian Constitution except for Article 1 and itself. It also restricted Parliament's legislative powers in 'state'.
