Shiv Sena scion and Yuva Sena President Aitya Thackeray lauded government's historic decision of revoking Article 370 on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, Thackeray said that with proposal of scrapping Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir is truly a part of India. He furr said that path to a safer and more progressive Jammu and Kashmir has been paved:

Earlier on Monday, Aitya Thackeray's far and Shiv Sena Chief Uddav Thackeray termed PM Modi government’s proposal to repeal Article 370 as real ‘Independence’ ahe of Independence Day. He stated that his far and party founder, late Bal Thackeray would’ve been very happy, while conveying his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Thackeray also gave a fitting response to USA President Donald Trump, asserting that country should poke ir ses in matters of India, with reference to Kashmir issue.
