Shiv Sena scion and Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray lauded the government's historic decision of revoking Article 370 on Monday.
Taking to Twitter, Thackeray said that with the proposal of scrapping Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir is truly a part of India. He further said that the path to a safer and more progressive Jammu and Kashmir has been paved:

Earlier on Monday, Aaditya Thackeray's father and Shiv Sena Chief Uddav Thackeray termed the PM Modi government’s proposal to repeal Article 370 as the real ‘Independence’ ahead of Independence Day. He stated that his father and party founder, late Bal Thackeray would’ve been very happy, while conveying his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Thackeray also gave a fitting response to USA President Donald Trump, asserting that no country should poke their noses in matters of India, with reference to the Kashmir issue.
