J'khand: Mobile Internet to be Suspended for 5 Hours on Sat, Sun for JGGLCCE Recruitment Exam
Mobile internet services will be suspended across the state for over five hours on Saturday and Sunday in view of the JGGLCCE recruitment test.
Ranchi: Mobile internet services will be suspended across Jharkhand for over five hours on Saturday and Sunday to prevent malpractice during the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE), according to an official statement. The shutdown will last from 8 am to 1:30 pm on both days.
The government has taken this step to ensure fair conduct of the examination, which will take place in 823 centers across the state. Approximately 6.39 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the test.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasised the importance of smooth execution and said he has spoken to senior officials regarding the preparations for the examination.
"Negligence will not be tolerated under any circumstances," he said on X.
He assured that strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to cheat.
"If anybody tries to do something wrong during the examination, even by mistake, we will deal with them strictly," Soren said.
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will conduct the examination in 823 centres, with around 6.39 lakh candidates expected to appear for the test, a JSSC official said.
