Jalna: Rs 12 Lakh Cash and Gold Looted from Co-operative Credit Society

Jalna: Gold as well as Rs 12 lakh cash were looted from a cooperative credit society in Maharashtra 's Jalna city on Sunday, according to police officials.

incident took place in itiya Urban Credit Cooperative Society in Old Monda area here in early hours of day, he said.

" accused used a gas cutter to break in, gained access to locker and looted Rs 12 lakh cash, while valuation of gold stolen is being ascertained," ditional Superintendent of Police Ayush pany said.

" CCTV foot of facility and vicinity is being checked. Two teams have been formed to arrest accused. A case has been registered at Sar Bazar police station," official said.
