Jawans feel ecstatic and proud after PM Modi visits troops along LoC
After celebrating Diwali with PM Modi, Army personnel at the LoC in Rajouri district of J&K were ecstatic & said they are happy & proud after PM's visit.

After celebrating Diwali with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Army personnel guarding Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir were ecstatic and said y are happy and proud after his surprise visit. Modi visited border district in Jammu region, his first to Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370, coinciding with Infantry Day celebrations. prime minister interacted with soldiers at BG Brige hequarters in town. Though a majority of jubilant soldiers avoided comment on prime minister's visit, only a few talked to reporters in a hurry while leaving venue.
Morale booster for soldiers
"We have never thought of meeting prime minister whose visit makes our Diwali a memorable one," one of soldiers told reporters while leaving venue after departure of Modi. He said visit of Modi was a big surprise and "we are feeling happy and proud after meeting him". Praising prime minister for celebrating Diwali festival with m, ar soldier said such a gesture came as a morale booster for soldiers who are working round--clock to secure borders of country.

"Prime minister is very good and lauded our role in safeguarding border of country... He assured that his government is behind us and will do whatever possible for us in ackwledgment of our service to nation," he said.

Pak violated LoC 2,100 times
According to official figures, Pakistani army violated ceasefire along LoC over 2,100 times this year, leaving 29 Indians de and scores of ors injured. Of m, eight people, including five soldiers were killed this month alone. Four of m lost ir lives in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch which witnessed major brunt of cross-border firing this year. soldiers said prime minister asked m to continue ir vigil along border for peace in region. " morale of Pakistani army is down and it is resorting to unprovoked ceasefire violation under frustration," ar soldier said.
