A video of ‘great gesture’ by police department has been widely shared on various social media platforms.
In video, one can see Jhansi Police personnel handing over toys to young children of migrant workers. While speaking to a local media outlet, SP Rahul Srivastava said that officers wanted to bring a smile on faces and d some love and warmth in this ‘cruel heat’.

Srivastava also reportedly informed that police department has me tents hospitable as well. He said that department set up heatproof and waterproof tents for migrant workers and ir families. He ded that officials want children and women to feel comfortable before leaving for ir destination. Moreover, Srivastava said that officers even serve migrants food and water as y sometimes have to wait for long hours at every border to proceed ahe.

Srivastava ded that he wants migrant workers to carry back happy memories. He told media outlet, that gesture is to show hospitality as y have alrey been through a lot of hardships. He furr said that as mors are mostly drained out by carrying kids, department thought of giving children toys so that burden on women could be lessened. gesture by Jhansi Police has also been lauded by several internet users.
