Jharkhand BJP: Insulting Women is in DNA of Congress Leaders

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Pratul Sahdeo said on Saturday that insulting women seems to be a part of Congress leers DNA, accusing m and ir allies of often using derogatory words toward women.

Sahdeo was commenting on a recent controversial remark me by senior Congress leer and assembly election candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar about his BJP opponent Purnima Sahu, who is daughter-in-law of Odisha Goverr and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

“It was thing new for senior Congress leers as using disgracing words against women was in ir DNA,” Sahu alleged.

Kumar, a member of AICC executive committee and former state Congress president, previously me a derogatory remark about Droupi Murmu when she was NDA 's candidate for president, BJP leer claimed.

He also cited alleged instances of or leers of Congress and its allies making derogatory remarks against women. “Surprisingly, action was taken against se leers by top party leership,” Sahu said.

Jharkhand BJP spokesperson alleged that 7,400 women were raped in state during Hemant Soren regime.

One-third of those 7,400 belonged to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe but charge sheets were filed in less than 25 per cent of incidents, Sahu claimed.

On or hand, women continuously progressed when BJP was in power in Jharkhand, he said.
