New Delhi: Nearly a year after launching its first tracking device, Reliance Jio has unveiled the JioTag Air, an upgraded model. The JioTag Air is designed as a more affordable option for tracking valuables like keys, ID cards, and wallets, and provides improved features compared to the Apple AirTag.
JioTag Air: Features
- Design and Build: The JioTag Air has a sleek, compact design, making it easy to carry in pockets or attach to various items.
- Technology: It utilises Bluetooth 5.3 technology for reliable wireless tracking and includes a built-in speaker that emits a loud sound ranging from 90 to 120 decibels to assist in locating items.
- Compatibility: The device works with both Android and iOS, integrating with Apple’s Find My Network for iPhone users and connecting with the JioThings app for Android users. It supports iPhones running iOS 14 or later and Android smartphones with Android 9 or later.
- Features: The JioTag Air comes with a lanyard for easy attachment to keychains and includes an extra battery, which lasts over a year on a single charge. It also features a Lost Mode that sends automatic notifications to the paired Apple device when detected on the Apple Find My Network.

Originally priced at Rs 2,999, the JioTag Air is currently offered at a discounted rate of Rs 1,499. It can be purchased through JioMart, Reliance Digital, and Amazon in three colours—Blue, Red, and Grey.
