Srinagar: Srinagar's renowned Dal Lake has transformed into a mesmerizing winter spectacle, attracting visitors from across the country to enjoy its serene waters and captivating beauty. As temperatures drop, portions of the lake freeze, turning it into a picturesque destination that captures the hearts of tourists. Here tourists are greeted with vibrant houseboats, elegant shikaras and the frozen landscape. Visitors, enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounds the area, leisurely take shikara rides.
Sajal Gaur, a tourist from Agra, shared his experience with ANI. He said, "Dal Lake looks very beautiful amid the freezing temperatures. My only wish is for everyone to come and see this. There is a different view and scenic beauty."
Prashant, who was on his first visit to Kashmir, was captivated by the frozen charm of Dal Lake. "Everything has been frozen. I enjoyed taking a tour of a famous market in the City," the Bihar native said to ANI.

Owais, a local, emphasized the booming tourism industry, stating, "More than one lakh tourists are arriving in Kashmir this winter season. "There has been development taking place in Kashmir which in turn is boosting the tourism industry which is at its peak as compared to the last few years."
With scheduled events like the Snowfall Festival and the upcoming Winter Carnival, there is an anticipation that a record-breaking number of tourists will come to Kashmir this winter.
