Biden, Xi Jinping & Rishi Sunak to attend Delhi G20 Meet: Where world leaders will stay
The G20 Summit is slated to take place on September 9-10 at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan.

With the 18th Heads of State and Government Summit of the G20 (Group of 20), scheduled to begin next month in the national capital under India’s presidency, elaborate arrangements are being put in place at various levels. The G20 Summit is slated to take place on September 9-10 at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan. The Delhi government has issued a notification for public holidays on September 8, 9, and 10, in view of the G-20 Summit scheduled to be held in the national capital on those dates.
The Delhi police authorities are busy making special arrangements to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the arrival of the high-profile delegates, including heads of state for the mega event. SS Yadav, Special CP, Traffic addressed the media on Friday and said that the restrictions on vehicular movements will be imposed from the night of September 7. However, there will be leeway for ambulances or vehicles carrying essential goods, he stated.

Where will Joe Biden, Xi Jinping and Rishi Sunak stay during G20 Summit?
The hotel bookings for G20 guests have been done and preparations are on for the G20 Summit in the national capital Delhi. Heads of countries from all over the world are coming to attend this meeting. Rooms have been booked in many hotels in Delhi for these guests. While US President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak have confirmed their attendance, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on August 25 informed that he will not be attending the G20 Summit in Delhi.
US President Joe Biden will stay at ITC Maurya

ITC Maurya is being prepared to welcome US President Joe Biden. More than 400 rooms of this five-star hotel have been booked. The US President is going to stay in the palatial Grand Presidential Suite of the hotel.
Xi Jinping will stay at Taj

The Taj near ITC Maurya has been booked for Chinese President Xi Jinping. Most of the rooms in this hotel have been booked for the Chinese President and his aides. Apart from China, rooms in the hotel have also been booked for guests from UAE and Brazil.
Rishi Sunak will stay at Hotel Shangri-La

Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will be the guest of Hotel Shangri-La. Special arrangements have been made for him in the hotel. The guests of Germany will also stay in the same hotel.
Apart from this, Le Meridien, Imperial, Hyatt, Oberoi, The Lalit, The Lodhi, Claridge's, The Leela, JW Marriott will also host heads of state, ministers, and officials of international organisations.
Notably, the G20 is expected to adopt a Leaders’ Declaration at the conclusion of the Summit that states Leaders’ commitment towards the priorities discussed and agreed upon during the Ministerial and Working Group Meetings. The G20 is made up of 19 countries and the EU. The 19 countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, and the US. India holds the Presidency of the G20 from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023.
