Kanpur: In a shocking incident of alleged rape and murder, body of a girl student has been found on the railway track in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, in a semi-naked state. The victim who had left home for coaching did not return the whole night and was later found in this condition.

The body of a girl student was found in a semi-nude state on the railway track in front of Panaupurva village of Chaubepur Police Station area. The victim, a resident of Maahrajpur was on her way to her coaching in Mandhana, for intermediate when the incident happened.

The deceased was on her way to her coaching when she was allegedly kidnapped; her parents and family searched for her all night when she did not come home and found her on a railway track the following day. It is suspected that she was raped and then murdered and thrown away.
