KCR announces 30% fitment for all Telangana govt employees, retirement age increased to 61
In a major boost to the government employees and teachers, Telangana Cheif Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced a salary hike to all employees from 1 April

In a major boost to government employees and teachers, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao anunced a salary hike to all employees from 1st April 2021. Corona disaster h shattered state ecomy. Due to an unexpected fiscal deficit, 11th pay revision was delayed. In present scenario of recuperating ecomy, "we are revising 11th pay scale in a better manner that will cover all employees, teachers in state," CM KCR stated.
As requested by govt employees, state government has started process of promotions, till w 80 per cent of promotion process of employees is completed. After this process is completed, 100% of eligible employees will get promotions in state. Soon Government will begin process of filling vacancies created by promotions.

"Government has decided to reduce limit from 75 years to 70 years for 15% ditional quantum of pension to retired government employees & teachers. All state government employees and teachers will get 30 per cent fitment and to this effect, orders will be implemented from 1st April 2021", KCR anunced
Inter-district transfers
For spouse of employees and teachers who are working in different districts, government will immediately start process of inter-district transfers to accommodate m to work in one district. government will give permission to Andhra Presh teachers who are working in Telangana to return to ir home state and government will issue orders. government has decided to provide 180 days of maternity leave along with ws to KGBV Women Staff.

Speaking during Telangana budget session, CM said along with financial recession across country Corona pandemic has severely shattered state ecomy. Corona has destroyed ecomies of all countries across World. Due to lockdown imposed by Central government public life in state came to stand still and financial activities were also paralysed. Due to Corona, income levels declined and state has experienced a severe financial deficit. Though state is in severe financial crisis it is decided to pay PRC-related 12 months arrears to employees as government is having special concern for m. It is ensured to get se arrears along with retirement benefits, he ded.
state government has decided to enhance retirement gratuity of employees and teachers from Rs.12 lakhs to Rs.16 lakhs. Govt has also increased retirement from 58 years to 61 years.
