Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday suggested that the nationwide lockdown should be extended till April 30 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interaction with chief ministers, sources said.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday suggested that nationwide lockdown should be extended till April 30 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interaction with chief ministers, sources said. y said Kejriwal was of view that ongoing 21-day lockdown, which is scheduled to end on April 14, should be extended to whole of India and t only in Delhi.
"Extending lockdown in Delhi only will t serve any purpose," sources quoted Kejriwal as saying in video conference interaction with prime minister.
As country battles coronavirus, Modi on Saturday held video conference with chief ministers primarily to take ir feedback on wher 21-nationwide lockdown be extended beyond April 14 to stem tide of infections. central government is understood to have also obtained views on issue from all relevant ncies and stakeholders involved in efforts to contain spread of pandemic.
