The Nirmal (NR-138) weekly lottery draw is headquartered at Kerala State Lotteries Department, Thiruvananthapuram. The prize winners are advised to verify the correct numbers announced with the Kerala Lottery results. The results are published in the Kerala Government Gazette. The winner has to surrender the winning tickets within 30 days from the declaration of the result. The prize winners will get the principal amount after the deduction of taxes.

History of the Kerala Lottery System

Established in 1967, the Kerala Government Lottery is governed by the Government Of Kerala. The institution works under the Lottery Bureau of the Government of Kerala. The government dismissed all the private lottery seller and brought the whole system under one roof. Late Finance Minister, Shri P.K. Kunju Sahib boosted the initiative.

• Win-Win Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Mondays.
• Sthree Sakthi Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Tuesdays.
• Akshaya Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Wednesdays.
• Karunya Plus Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Thursdays.
• Nirmal Weekly Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Fridays.
• Karunya Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Saturdays.
• Pournami Lottery is conducted by Kerala State Lottery Department on Sundays.

All these lotteries have different prize structure.
