Maharashtra too has seen a sudden surge in cases with a tally of 145 cases. Mumbai itself amounts to 86 cases of 145 in state tally.

With over 1.2 lakh individuals under observation, Kerala has undertaken a huge testing drive to identify and isolate highest number of cases in state. As of Thursday, state h sent 5,342 samples for testing - which is highest among all states. Of se 3,768 have returned negative, declaring 176 positive. Ahe of PM Modi's Rs 15,000 crore relief pack, state government h Govt introduced Rs 20,000 Cr relief & support pack along with free rations for all.

Moreover, Kerala government has also anunced thousands of community kitchens throughout state to ensure one is left facing a food short. CM has anunced that y have set up phone numbers at Panchayat level to deliver food to people at ir homes via state volunteers. state government has also me 69,437 beds available in 869 private hospitals across state with ditional isolation wards facilities me available.
Coronavirus crisis in India
As of date, 724 positive cases have been reported of pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19) - 66 have been discharged and Kerala reported highest at 176. 17 deaths have been reported till date. India has suspended all visas and barred travel from Afghanistan, Philippines, EU, UK, China, Malaysia and mandatory 14-day quarantine from several or countries. Prime Minister has issued a 21-day countrywide lockdown starting from 25 March to April 15 and Finance Minister has anunced a Rs 1.7 lakh crore pack under 'PM Gareeb Kalyan Scheme'.
