New Delhi: During his two-day visit to the National Capital Delhi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met with the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and other key union ministers, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, JP Nadda, Hardeep Puri, and Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Sources told Republic that the meetings with all ministers aimed to secure funds for rebuilding Andhra Pradesh, with a major focus on Amravati as the state capital and the Pollavaram project.

Sources close to Naidu stated that the previous Chief Minister had ruined the state by looting public money, causing the Pollavaram project's cost to skyrocket from ₹450 crores to nearly ₹900 crores due to the YSRCP government's actions.

Naidu did not seek a special package from the Center; instead, he emphasized that since the TDP became an ally of the NDA, their top priority is securing budget allocations before or after the budget session to redevelop Andhra Pradesh, including completing the main buildings of the Amravati secretariat and the ring road.

Referring to Jagan, CM Naidu called him a "devil in the state" and assured investors that they need not fear. He promised that Jagan would be controlled this time and would not disturb investors in any way.

Sources indicated that the primary focus will be on a skill census rather than a caste census. During his meeting with the Prime Minister, Chandrababu Naidu did not address the skill census but signaled that he would raise the issue in a future meeting. Naidu's main goal is to empower the youth based on their skills, and he has instructed officials to begin the skill survey. Despite differences in the BJP and TDP manifestos, sources close to Naidu noted that both parties are collaborating to fulfill their manifesto promises under a Common Minimum Program.

Regarding minority reservations, sources said that the Chandrababu Naidu government is committed to fulfilling its promise. Naidu plans to work with the Center to address issues related to minority reservations and advance his commitments.

In the coming days, Naidu is expected to release more white papers exposing the extent of property destruction, resource mismanagement, and alleged corruption by the YSRCP government. Naidu is scheduled to meet Revanth Reddy tomorrow evening and emphasized that Hyderabad’s development is due to his efforts. He also stated that both Andhra and Telangana need to work together for the prosperity of the states.
