Anant-Radhika Wedding Menu: No Indian wedding is complete without a lip-smacking feast, and the much-awaited big fat Indian wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is no exception. Details about the menu have begun to emerge, promising a drool-worthy experience.

A Taste of Varanasi

One of the highlights of the wedding feast will be the renowned Kaashi Chaat Bhandar from Varanasi, known for its mouth-watering street food. If media reports are to be believed, the famous eatery has been chosen to serve its signature dishes, ensuring a delightful treat for the guests.

Earlier, in an interview, Rakesh Keshari, the owner of Kaashi Chaat Bhandar, shared his excitement about the opportunity. He revealed that Nita Ambani, the matriarch of Reliance Industries, had personally visited their shop on June 24. She savored a variety of snacks, including tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda, and was delighted with the flavours.

"Nita Ambani came to our chaat bhandaar on June 24, where she tasted tikki chaat, tomato chaat, palak chaat, and kulfi falooda. She was very happy and said that the chaat of Banaras is very famous. It was a pleasure to serve her," he told the news agency. Nita Ambani had visited Varanasi to pray at Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Over 100 Coconut Delicacies

Another standout feature of the menu is the inclusion of over 100 dishes made from coconut, demonstrating the ingredient's versatility and rich flavors. These dishes will range from savory delights to sweet treats, ensuring a unique and memorable dining experience for the guests.

South Indian Coffee Delight

Adding a touch of Southern India to the feast, the menu will also include the renowned Filter Coffee from Madras. Known by various names such as Madras Kaapi, Kumbakonam Degree Coffee, Mylapore Filter Coffee, and Mysore Filter Coffee, this aromatic beverage is a staple in South Indian households. Its inclusion will provide a comforting and familiar option for guests.

Top celebrities Kim and Khloe Kardashian, boxer Mike Tyson, former UK prime ministers and global business tycoons are attendin the wedding of tghe year.  After four months of star-studded pre-wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani, 29, will tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.

The guest list is a mix of Indian and international celebrities, politicians and corporate bigwigs, sources aware of the matter said. Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita, in the past had lavish weddings for their other children too - Beyoncé performed at daughter Isha Ambani's 2018 nuptials that boosted of guests like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, and a year later Coldplay's Chris Martin performed at Akash's pre-wedding bash in St Moritz, Switzerland and Maroon 5 at his wedding in Mumbai.

But the wedding of the youngest has eclipsed both. A three-day pre-wedding event at Gujarat's Jamanagar - hometown of Ambani which also houses his conglomerate's giant oil refining complex - featured some 1,200 guests, including Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft's Bill Gates, BlackRock co-founder Larry Fink, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Saudi Aramco chairman Yasir Al Rumayyan as well as a performance by Rihanna.

In June, the celebrations travelled overseas when guests embarked on a luxury cruise along the stunning azure coastline of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Italy, to the French Mediterranean and featured performances by Backstreet Boys, singer Katy Perry and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Justin Bieber performed at the 'sangeet' ceremony last week. The wedding on Friday will take place at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, followed by dinner receptions on the following days.
