Kharge takes a dig at BJP, says 'exodus indicates dissatisfaction among its leaders'
Kharge also denied any split in Karnataka Congress amid speculations of the party being divided after the ticket distribution and choice of candidates

Congress national President Mallikarjun Kharge has taken a dig at Karnataka BJP by saying that exodus from Bharatiya Janata Party to or parties is going on in state, which shows that re is dissatisfaction inside party and among its leers. Kharge, when asked wher Congress party is united in poll-bound Karnataka, said that dissidents were being seen in BJP after announcement of tickets, not Congress.
Congress chief on Saturday denied rumours of any split in Karnataka Congress unit amid speculations of party being divided over ticket distribution and choice of candidates for upcoming state's assembly elections. polls for 224-seats of Karnataka Assembly are slated to happen on May 10, in a single phase and results will be declared on May 13.

Meanwhile, Kharge, while talking to news agency ANI, said, "Have you seen any dissidents after announcing tickets, like in BJP? In BJP, an exodus to or parties is going on. It means that greater dissatisfaction is in BJP, not Congress."
Hitting out at BJP-led government in state, he said that people of Karnataka are fed up with BJP government, as current government only encouraged and supported corruption in state, during its five-years rule.

"People are fed up because in se five-years, whatever BJP government did, more or less y encouraged corruption. y were taking 40 percent commission openly, which was proved by contractors mselves. I think that this is enough, y need not get defence from ors. So, corruption, lack of infrastructure and division among caste and reserved categories, y are doing mischief. But, people are united, y want Congress to come to power," he ded.
Kharge also responded to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remark that Congress sanctioned a 4 percent quota to Muslims illegally in Karnataka. He said, "This 4 percent quota was given a long back. When Supreme Court did not strike it down, why are you people doing this yourself?"

Referring to BJP, he ded, "You (BJP) are snatching away whatever government gave to poor and minorities and are creating divisions just for votes."
biggest political battle ground of Karnataka is all set to see various political parties including BJP, Congress and JD(S) wrestling with each or to clinch victory and gain required majority in state's assembly. With se three major political parties in frame, state assembly election is likely to witness a three-corner contest.
