Kolkata: The former principal of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Sandip Ghosh is at the CBI office in Kolkata and is expected to undergo the polygraph test today.

The RG Kar ex-principal is being questioned in the gruesome rape and murder of a trainee doctor at the medical college and hospital in Kolkata.

RG Kar Hospital Ex-Principal Sandip Ghosh to Undergo Polygraph Test Today

Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital and a suspect in the Kolkata Rape and Murder Case, will be undergoing a polygraph test today.

Ghosh is being interrogated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for almost a week now.

Apart from his alleged involvement in the Kolkata Rape and Murder, CBI is also probing financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital under him.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has named Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, in the FIR the agency has filed in connection with its probe into the alleged financial irregularities at the institution during his tenure. The agency has slapped Section 120B of IPC (criminal conspiracy) read with Section 420 IPC (cheating and dishonesty) and Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (amended in 2018) which covers unlawful acceptance of gratification by a public servant.
