2 Terrorists Killed in Exchange of Fire at LoC in North Kashmir's Keran Sector

Jammu: Two terrorists were killed after an exchange of firing with security forces erupted at the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara on Thursday, following heightened security alerts across Jammu and Kashmir. Multiple security agencies have reported that terrorists are active at various launching pads and are prepared to infiltrate the region at any moment.

This operation comes in the wake of the recent Doda encounter, where four bravehearts were martyred. The loss has intensified the resolve of security forces to tackle the ongoing threats.

In response to these alerts, a high-intensity operation was launched across multiple LoC areas. Just days ago, in the same district, three terrorists were neutralized during a joint operation. The areas under operation are being continuously monitored with the latest technology equipment. Senior officers are overseeing the operation to ensure its success and safety, according to a senior Jammu and Kashmir police officer who spoke to Republic TV.
