'Forces will give befitting reply': MoS Defence says China 'pre-planned' attack at LAC

Speaking to news ncy ANI, Naik said, "It is a matter of national security, re will be compromise. We will t allow ors to take our land. I pay tribute to all jawans who lost lives. nation is proud of m that y me supreme sacrifice. It won't go in vain. It was pre-planned by China and Indian forces will give a befitting reply."

"We were in talks with Chinese officials. Soldiers of both sides have demarche 2.5 KM. It is s that China has attacked our soldiers in our territory and ir soldiers have also been killed," he ded.
MEA rejects China's claim over Galwan valley
India on Wednesday took strong exception to China claiming sovereignty over Galwan valley in eastern Lakh, saying its "exaggerated and untenable claims" are in contrary to understanding reached on issue between two sides. Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava's response came after China claimed that Galwan valley in eastern Lakh is a part of its territory.

PM Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to army personnel martyred in clash with Chinese troops and said armed forces have always shown remarkable cour and stefastly protected India's sovereignty.

Twenty Indian Army personnel including a colonel were killed in a fierce clash with Chinese troops in Galwan Valley in eastern Lakh on Monday night.
clash in Galwan Valley on Monday night is biggest confrontation between two militaries after ir 1967 clashes in Nathu La in 1967 when India lost around 80 soldiers while over 300 Chinese army personnel were killed.
