Lamborghini Catches Fire On Mumbai's Coastal Road, Narrow Escape For Occupants

Mumbai: A fire erupted inside a Lamborghini car while it was moving on Mumbai's Coastal Road on Wednesday night. The incident occurred at around 10.20 pm in the middle of the road, following which the car occupants stopped the car and rushed out in time to save themselves. According to the reports, no one was injured in the incident.

The fire started inside the orange-coloured Lamborghini car, which had a Gujarat registration number. A fire engine was quickly rushed to the spot, where the fire personnel managed to control the blaze in about 45 minutes.

The cause of the fire in the high-end car is still not known and the police are probing the incident determine cause. 

Although details about the number of people in the car and the exact cause of the fire are still unclear, business tycoon Gautam Singhania shared a video of the burning car on his social media. In the video, flames can be seen inside the car’s cabin, while a man attempts to extinguish the fire.

According to the police, the fire officials worked swiftly to prevent the fire from spreading further.
