2 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists arrested with ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir
Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists and three others were reportedly arrested with incriminating material in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore district on Saturday.

Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists and three ors were reportedly arrested on Saturday, vember 16, with incriminating material in Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir. police arrested Ulfat Bashir Mir, resident of wpora Jer, and Darpora Bomai-resident Aijaz Ahmad Bhat at a checkpoint at Kura Bypass crossing. As per reports, incriminating materials including ammunition were recovered from ir possession.
Earlier, three people from Jammu and Kashmir identified as Hilal Ahmad, Sahil Nazir both and Peerzada Mohammad Zahir were arrested and incriminating materials including threat posters were recovered from ir possession, police said. While Ahmad and Nazir are from Brath-Kalan area, Zahir is a resident of Check Brath area of Sopore district. Cases under relevant section of law have been registered at Sopore Police Station.

"Initial investigation into matters reveals that se individuals were involved in publishing and circulation of threat posters of proscribed terror outfit LeT in Sopore area," a press release said.
Terrorist gunned down by J&K police

This has been second encounter between security forces and terrorists in two days. Earlier on Tuesday, vember 11 had gunned down two terrorists after an encounter with forces, as confirmed by Kashmir Zone Police. Police had added that arms and ammunition have been recovered w. Forces informed that terrorist was a Pakistani named Talha and was involved with LeT.

Pak infiltration bid foiled
Earlier on vember 8, Indian Army had foiled a major infiltration bid by terrorists after Pakistan violated ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. According to reports, Pakistan violated ceasefire for second time on Friday morning at 11.45 am. Earlier, Pakistani Rangers violated ceasefire in same area at about 2.30 am on Friday night. According to Defence officials, while Indian Army retaliated befittingly, one army jawan lost his life during a ceasefire violation.
